The best ever

I guys, this day i talk about of my best holidays in my life.
This is my travel to the archipielago of Chiloe, located in the south of the country. It started in the month of February, in the middle summer of the year two thousand seventeen.

It was a special moment because it's the first time I traveled alone and so far from my house.
The first step was to travel from Santiago to Puerto Montt and then board a ship that moved to the city of Ancud in the Chiloe island. This took about fifteen hours to finally reach the city of Castro, the provincial capital of the island.

In the terminal bus, I met a friend from the university who had invited me to her home in the final moments of the two thousand sixteen. She show me different places of Castro, such as the coast of the island, the library of the city and the palafitte of Chiloe, one of the tourist attractions that many people photograph when traveling to the island.

For teen days I toured several places in the archipielago of Chiloe, passing though Lemui and Quemchi island, Chonchi and Cucao. In these places I met people who had lived all their lifes in Chiloe, such as artisanal fishermen, sellers and farmers. This people told me about the conflicts they live, the importance of the water or how we tourists are going to use their resources that are limited in Chiloe.

I always remember this travel because it has inspire me to try to know the realities that are lived outside the great city of Santiago through anthropology and the etnography.

Finally I hope visit soon Chiloe. I think the kidness of the people and the beauty of their places they are something that anyone should know, but with a lot of respect and awareness.
Thanks for reading

Euthanasia should be legal in Chile

Hi classmates, how are you? This blog is to talk about euthanasia or assisted death. A topic that demonstrates how Chile is falling behind compared to other countries for not having a law of euthanasia that makes it legal. Euthanasia is done in situations where a person loses the wish to live. Generally, it happens when people with terminal or incurable disease manifest their choice to die quickly and end their suffering For me, it's a sensitive topic because several years ago my grandfather was kept alive against his will agonizing for months until he died. This situation makes me believe that we must respect the will of sick people and we must recognize assisted death as dignified and also as a human right. But there are other situations that require reflection on the need to create a law of euthanasia. In our society there are more people who lose the desire to live. For example there is the case of a couple of elderly people who committed suicide to avoid being
